Gabrielle Everitt is due to return to Hustle&Scout this 14 December, which is perfect timing for stocking up on quality, sophisticated summer looks. The Gabrielle Everitt womenswear label is one with a distinct look - the pieces are feminine, with a soft colour palette of pastels and creams, and a perfect coupling of flowing lines and structural elements. The iconic rope dress is one that is perfect for a formal or casual summer outing, and can easily be transformed into an even more elegant look when paired with one of the Gabrielle Everitt Phillipa vests with lace trimmings. The Marquita dress, with its shorter hem but long sleeves, is a wonderful compromise for those who like to show off their legs, leave their jacket at home and still see through a cooler summer's night without having to change their look. Gabrielle Everitt knows women, and she knows how to create options for versatility.
Today you have a chance to learn a little bit more about the lovely Gabrielle. All the brides-to-be better keep an eye out, because it looks like Gabrielle is soon to channel her romantic aesthetic into new designs for that special day!
When did you know you
wanted to be a fashion designer?
After trying my hand
in Architecture and Interior Design, I decided Fashion Design was the one for
me at the age of 22.
Where do you draw
your inspiration from for your designs?
1920-1940’s, Equestrian
and Nature.
Who is your customer?
Ladies who love to
look classical and elegant.
If you had the
opportunity to dress anyone, who would it be?
Governor General
Quentin Bryce.
What is your absolute
favourite thing you have made? Why?
My first ever Jacket.
It was a combination of distressed cotton embellished with lace, exposed

winner!

the avenue I will go down. In 10 years time, I would like to have my own bridal

can’t live without?
Family (including the furry ones), holidays, lace, books and
summer.
