When did you know you wanted to be a fashion designer?

After trying my hand in Architecture and Interior Design, I decided Fashion Design was the one for me at the age of 22.

Where do you draw your inspiration from for your designs?

1920-1940’s, Equestrian and Nature.

Who is your customer?

Ladies who love to look classical and elegant.

If you had the opportunity to dress anyone, who would it be?

Governor General Quentin Bryce.

What is your absolute favourite thing you have made? Why?

My first ever Jacket. It was a combination of distressed cotton embellished with lace, exposed stitching, pleats and a commercial mesh used for soft furnishing. It was a winner!

Where do you hope to be in 10 years time? (hint: dream BIG)

I have already started designing my bridal range which is the avenue I will go down. In 10 years time, I would like to have my own bridal boutique. Small and simple, but stylish!

What are 5 things you can’t live without?

Family (including the furry ones), holidays, lace, books and summer.
