5 minutes with Hannah from Audrey Blue...

Tell us a bit about your label and what marketeers can expect to find at the winter market.

Here at Audrey Blue we pride ourselves at doing things differently, shaking up the fashion world and being a bit radical at heart, while looking rather conventional, thank you very much. We sum it up by saying “conservative look, radical process”. So you can expect some very weareable, comfortable, great value tops, dresses and shirts, suitable for the office or 'smart casual', made from certified organic and fairtrade cotton.  We try and design for all body shapes and all 'colours' so there is something to suit everyone.

What is it about Hustle&Scout that made you want to apply to be a stallholder?

Hustle and Scout is part of the 'coming of age' of Canberra: creative, confident, ecofriendly and uber hip (even the New York times thinks so!).  We are tickled pink to be associated with  this scene...

MY FAV THINGS.

Guilty pleasure?
Oohh, many. Does Downtown Abbey count? [Yes Hannah, yes it does].

Thing to cook to impress someone?
My marinated Italian layered salad. That dish got me a boyfriend once.

Place to unwind in Canberra?
My couch/day bed/TV dinner spot/cuddle platform reading a really good book and having chai tea and/or thinking up new ways to change the world through Audrey Blue.

Song to dance to?
“Play that Funky Music White Boy” by Wild Cherry. I swear, that song got me through Audrey Blue's first foray into Fashfest.
